Mitch Bregnard requested from the Recreation Commission, clarification of the motion on the
Ace Archer's suspension of their permit that was voted on at the July 23, 2019 Recreation
Commission meeting. He wanted to be sure he understood that when Ace Archers' permit
ends, and if they choose to reapply, if Ace Archer's is suspended or if Tom Herrington is
suspended. Sherri Gurnon stated that Ace Archer's permit expired in mid -August, and that
Mr. Herrington, who owns Ace Archers, can reapply for the 2020 season.

Seconded by Mitch Bregnard. Motion passes, 3-0.
3. Visitor: At 620pm, Kevin Dumas, Town Manager, attended the Recreation Commission
meeting to give an update on the Plymouth Street Playground.
Mr. Dumas stated that Sherri Gurnon approached him regarding the changes in expenses for
the Plymouth Street Playground due to the changes in the ADA compliance regulations. The
playground changed from about a $100,000 to a 300,000 project. When the expenses went
that high, he felt that Ms. Gurnon should receive help and that they should seek some
professional advice. Mr. Dumas suggested Waterfield Design Group as he has worked with
them in the past. Ms. Gurnon shared that Craig Miller from WDG, was very knowledgeable
and after she gave him her ideas of what we were looking for, fully understands the value of a
playground to the community and those that utilize them. After the Recreation Commission
puts together an idea of what they would like in the playground, Mr. Dumas would like'a
conceptual picture done for the Recreation Commission to approve, and then take it to Town
Meeting for a vote.

process as the Police Station has to be brought up to code which may mean tearing it down
and rebuilding.

Ms. Pascarelli has had very low attendance.
Motion: By Ed Westhaver to approve waiving April Pasearelli's fees and revisit the
idea if she should return next year. Seconded by Linda McCabe. Motion passes, 3-0
-Sherri Gurnon gave the Recreation Commission the Summer Camp attendance numbers
over the last three years to show the continued growth of the program. Because of this, Ms.
Gurnon stated that the camp may hire additional camp counselors for the summer of 2020.
This will allow more children into the camp as many were turned away.
