The meeting of the Community Service Recognition Awards Committee was called to order
at 7:00pm by Chair Neil Rhein
Acceptance of Meeting Minutes
*Motion to accept Minutes from March 30'h, 2019 made by Lt. Bain, 2nd by Ms. Murphy Vote 4-0 Passed
Mr. Rhein says they had no social media backlash. Ms. Murphy says it was a positive experience all around. Lt. Bain said
in September we should get a lot more nominees.
The Committee discusses all changes to be made for next year:
Nomination Form Changes:
-Strike out "persons".
-Clarify it's for a singular citizen.
-Add in "No groups or organizations will be considered".
-Remove Child verbiage to youth.
-Update to 2019
-Add "Please add specific examples, timeframes, and names of organizations."
-Add "Award Category Selection Checkbox." And "Please choose one category."
-Remove Street Address for Nominators
-Nominator's Name should specify it can be a group nominating people.
Prompts to include:
-Specific Organizations.
-Specific Examples of how they've helped the Town.
-Explain time invested to the Town or organizations.
Dates:
Nominations will open: September 3`d, 2019.
Nominations will close: October 18° 2019.
Ceremony will be held: Select Board Meeting November 20"', 2019.

-Committee Assessment and Vote
-Ceremony

-Nominators name to be filled in
-Will be signed by Chair of CSAC and Town Manager
