Absent were Chairperson, Marilyn Lewis and member Jeffrey Wagner. The meeting was held in the MBC meeting room at Town Hall and called to order by Randy at 6:35 PM. Minutes were read for the Dec. 2018 meeting and moved for approval by Lou, seconded by Sean, and passed unanimously with corrections. The Treasurer's report was provided by Connie who reported on the balance for bills that were paid to Aggregate Industries and Capone Bothers that had not been as well identified previously by the Town. MHC split the additional expenses with the Highway Dept. for work done on the sewer extension for Columbine. Our costs were for a total of $6,713.13 with $2,623.13 going to Aggregate industries and $4,040.00 going to Capone Bros. The discussion was whether those amounts took us over the $50,000.00 we had voted for the project. Lou moved and Randy seconded approval of the report as presented (passed unanimously, 4-0). Randy discussed the proposed arrangement with Mark O'Hagan to do work evaluating Town land regarding its suitability for use in developing affordable housing. The contract calls for evaluation of 50 parcels at $100.00 each for a total of $5,000.00. He reported that it would likely take 4-6 weeks for Mr. O'Hagan to perform the work. Randy moved and Lou seconded that Marilyn be authorized to sign a contract with MCO Housing (Mark O'Hagan's company). This motion passed unanimously. Next, Lou moved and Connie seconded that $1,500.00 be approved to be sent to MCO Housing as a deposit on the work to be done by Mr. O'Hagan. This motion also passed unanimously. Connie indicated that we need to renew the Officers' and Directors' insurance. Lou moved and Connie seconded a motion to approve payment in an amount not to exceed $1,000.00. This motion passed unanimously without further discussion. NEW BUSINESS Discussion next ensued regarding our report for the Town Report. Lou provided a draft which was accepted with a couple of suggestions that he agreed to insert. In particular, Connie wanted to include information that MHC is working with a consultant to look for additional sites that could be developed for affordable housing. This report is due by Jan 31 for Town Hail. Lou agreed to provide them with both a printed and a thumb drive version of the report for their convenience. Connie reported that she had invited Judi Barrett of The Barrett Group to speak with us, but Ms. Barrett is unable to meet with us until the March meeting, Randy indicated that the next meeting would be our regularly scheduled meeting for March and reorganization would be one of the agenda items. Lou moved adjournment. Passed unanimously at 7:11 PM. Respectfully submitted, Lou Amoruso 3% 2 PIV N O U (?7 n UM pzr' QC W C7 m
