The Animal Welfare Committee meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m. at Mansfield Airport.
Approve Minutes
Motion: To approve the minutes from Mayl6 18, 2019. Passes.
ACO's Report
Foxboro dog Diesel was evaluated this morning by Sue Thibedeau, Foxboro A..CO. Kaycee
Bailey, and Jeff Collins. Diesel did not pass the evaluation; he was extremely animal
aggressive. Therefore, the Foxboro ACO decided Diesel should be euthanized.
Maintenance
• Mice are in the MSF shed. Ana will look into hiring pest control to eliminate them.
• Jeff has contacted Gary Nelson about the error messages displayed on the security
system.
Veterinary
• AWC members requested that when Kaycee Bailey brings in Foxboro cats that have
lived outdoors, that she apply flea and tick medication if the cats can be handled, and
then mark the treatment on the Stray/Surrender form.
• Ana reported that Bauble, a kitten who was adopted from us recently, had a severe
case of ear mites when the owner tools Bauble to Dr. Trapani.
• Tigger Tom will have bloodwork and a 2"d opinion on his intestinal problems.
