The meeting of the Community Service Recognition Awards Committee was called to order
at 5:34pm by Chair Neil Rhein in Town Hall Room 2A/B.
Acceptance of Meeting Minutes
*Motion to accept Minutes from January 30`° 2019 made by Lt. Bain, 2"d by Ms. Murphy Vote 4-0 PASSED
Mr. Rhein reads his comments for the Award Ceremony.
The Committee agrees to Mr. Rhein's comments. Lt. Bain suggests adding information that recognizes all Nominees. The
Committee agrees with this and Mr. Rhein notes it in his comments.
Mr. Rhein says it will be in the Newspaper and asks if it should also be noted on the Town's Facebook page. The
Committee agrees to this.
Mr. Rhein opens the floor to discussion. Lt. Bain discusses concern about the social media aspect. Mr. Rhein suggests
making any posts "No Comment". The Committee agrees to this. Mr. Rhein says if there are any one-on-one
conversations had with an individual Committee member about the results to make sure they understand it's based on
scope of work rather than popularity.
The Committee agrees to March 28`h, 2019 for a follow up meeting.
Mr. Rhein goes over the letters for Nominators. Signing is tabled until the next meeting.
