He says the spot to build on is the only available space due to preexisting building conditions. Mr. Shannon asks how large the proposed addition is. Mr. Lavigne says it adds about 800 square feet of living space. He says the old garage will become a part of the living space. Ms. Garber -Miller fields questions from the public. Eve Hyde asks if there will be any impact on their property and will there be construction vehicles on their property. Mr. Lavigne says no and says the addition will not go higher than the existing structures. He says most of the area behind the house will remain the same. Linda Barnes says her property abuts this land. She says her concern is with the driveway. She says there is a stone wall there that she believes the old owner installed. She has concern over losing any trees on that side of her land. Mr. Lavigne says there will be about 4 feet of driveway that still exists and none of the existing trees or rocks will be affected. He says they are not touching the hill. Ms. Barnes says she thought they were building on a different area. Mr. Lavigne confirms the area with Ms. Barnes and confirms the trees and rocks will remain.
