BETWEEN THE TOWN OF MANSFIELD CONSERVATION COMMISSION
AND
HOCKOMOCK AREA YMCA
WHEREAS the Hockomock Area YMCA ("Licensee"), the Town of Mansfield Conservation
Commission ("Commission") and Town of Mansfield Town Manager ("Town Manager") are
signatories to a License Agreement permitting the Licensee to operate the Mansfield Community
Garden on a portion of the land on Essex Street, Mansfield, MA identified as Parcel 37-272 in the
Town of Mansfield Assessor's database;
WHEREAS the License Agreement was for a three-year term that expired on December 31,
2014;
WHEREAS the License Agreement permitted the Licensee to exercise an option to extend
the Agreement for up to two (2) additional three-year terms;
WHEREAS the Licensee desires to continue operating the Mansfield Community Garden at
its present location; and
WHEREAS the Licensee has notified the Town that it desires to exercise its right to extend
the Agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree that the License Agreement shall be extended for an
additional three years, ending December 31, 2017. The Licensee shall have the option to extend for
the remaining three year term at that time. All other terms and conditions of the License Agreement
shall remain in force.
IN WITNESS WIJEREOF, the Commission and Licensee have hereunto set their hands and
