Great news: The deadline to apply for the Commonwealth Places
matching grant program was just extended to April 1st!
Create dynamic and engaging public spaces through local

Commonwealth Places is a crowdgranring challenge program created by
MassDevelopment to activate new or distressed public places and
community spaces. The program offers up to $50,000 in matching grant

Ashland with a community gathering place, commissioning local and
international mural artists to Worcester beautifying downtown Hyannis
and creating a world-class urban arts district in Salem.
The program is open to artists, community organizers, municipal planners and city leaders.
Two weeks ago, MASSCreative, Patronicity, MASSDevelopment and WeWork co -hosted an information session
on Commonwealth Places. If you weren't able to attend, watch the video of the session on our Facebook Daae.
