Amended who stepped out for conflict of
interest.
Jean motioned to approve the amended
minutes.
Annette seconded.
Unanimous vote.
January 22, 2018
Brian motioned to approve amended
minutes.
Sally seconded.

Nicole talked about role as Secretary.
Treasurer's Report
We haven't received our state funding yet.
We reimbursed all our 2017 grants. 2017 is
finished.
Sally talked about role as Treasurer.
Annual Election of
Open up discussion for all ideas and
Officers
thoughts.
Lisa talked about Chair role.
Vision going; forward: Cultural District,
Grantee Reception.
Two 3 year terms that are consecutive, one
year off and 'then can return (state).
Town: step into a term that may not be all 3
years.
Secretary, Treasury, Chair official positions
we have to vote on. The other positions are
what we created for our need, but does not
officially get voted on.
Annette: Publicist, mostly print media, not
comfortable with online media. Is there
another person who would like to take the
online media portion of publicist?rAnnette
would like help.
Brian: Downtown Committee, vision
revitalize downtown. Looking to add more
community events, festivals, more
involvement.
Vote time.
Katharine moves to keep current slate of
officers.
Jean seconded.

Sally stays Treasurer, Lisa stays Chair,
Nicole stays Secretary.
Annette stays Publicist.
Brian will continue on Downtown
Committee.
We'll check in with Jackie next about
Public Liaison
Lisa will help with

Jean, Annette, Gail, Lisa, Nicole signed up.
Planning for Grant
Last time, Annette publicized, Katharine
Announcement and
invited. Toolkit from state, how to plan a
Grantee Reception
reception, press release, program, last year
April 25th. Not much of a budget. We -
brought food items, did our own name tags,
our venue was sponsored, which we later
sent a donation to.
We have more funding this time.
Advance profile of Cultural District.
When should we have it?
Amplify the impact that we had last time.
What does that look like?
$563 for us to use.
Invite a performer, one of the grantees.
Film? Advertisement? Rent space?
Marketing promotion? Purchasing
supplies: art activity? When? Spring?
Summer? Fall? Grant writing workshop?
Place? Congregational Church? Black Doll
Museum? Elks?
When should we have this?
Non-profit gift fund reception. Well
attended. At MMAS.
Schedule April meeting, pick 2 dates in
May and find a venue.
Church won the vote for venue.
Brian will contact the Church, if it's a no,
Annette will contact the Elks.

April 10, 2018 Tuesday 7 pm - 9 pm
Reception tentative dates:
Brian will find out what dates are available.

Cultural District
Gail went to NOMAS gala, Kevin Dumas.
Status
Spoke a bit to him about Cultural District.
Kevin Dumas very supportive.
Next steps:Mary Jenkins Cultural District
program for the state. Katharine is working
to meet with her.
Town Business
New town manager. Ideal time and plan for
his visit before inviting him. When should
we invite him. Purpose, direct connect.
Brian, Gail, Katharine, Lisa, should meet
with him to introduce and talk about what
they are working on.
Next meeting, can Gail and Katharine
update their Cultural District timeline.
Online assets, mark down culture you
know in the district. People, places, and
things in Mansfield. Need an asset list.
Downtown
Signs, projects, more parking. Lighted TA
Committee Update
walkway from Mansfield Bank to Fulton
Pond. Park and rail trail behind Jimmy's
Pub.
Any Items Publicity for Grant Recipients. Should we Annette will write it up
