Communication Annette submitted article to Update Mansfield News about the recipients of the awards. No word from Sun Chronicle. Calendar In August we need to post the local guidelines. Treasurer's Grants are on track and being Report distributed. Grantees: MLCC Talked about getting a table at the Participation and MMAS Arts Festival. Project Self -Evaluations Talked about sharing a table with Nicole to find out the IDC at Mansfield Family Fun about getting a table Night. Caitlin Barrows runs the with Nancy Wall.. event. Community Input See Handout Survey Update Can collaborate with other people doing surveys like the library. We have been funded the same amount of money for quite some time. If we can collect data on our town then we can maybe ask for more funding. Advocate to representatives for funding. Mansfield Family Fun Night: Display Board explaining Cultural District. Discussion on how to be more visible to the town. Cultural District We can get a $5,000 grant to start Planning our Cultural District. Voted and Approved 6/28/16. Respectfully submitted, Nicole L Burch If we had a cultural facility we could get larger grant amounts. Bristol County gets $962,000. $5400 goes to Mansfield. How can we get more money into Mansfield. Work with other boards and committees that have similar goals. Map the area. See Handout on creating a Cultural District. We created a Subcommittee to Katharine Wroth work on a Cultural District. and Gail Gilman are co-chairs of the Cultural District Sub -committee. Lisa in contact with the IDC. After our survey we should meet with the Selectman. We were invited to do so. Invite Jennifer Atwood to our next meeting. Schedule Next Tuesday, June 28, 2016, 7:00 pm Meeting to 9:00 pm.
