Joint Meeting with Board of Selectmen
Minutes for Wednesday, October 10, 2018
Town Hall 3A/B
An open meeting of the Mansfield School Committee was held at Town Hall on Wednesday, October 10, 2018
with the Town of Mansfield Board of Selectmen. The School Committee open meeting session was called to
order by Lynn Cavicchi at 6:30 p.m.

Members Absent
Kiera O'Neil, Jenn Walsh
Board of Selectman Chairman Michael Trowbridge explained the purpose of the joint meeting was to review the
application of Kris Moussette to serve as one of two members at large for the Town of Mansfield Audit
Committee. The at -large members are appointed jointly by the Board of Selectmen and School Committee.
Michael asked Kris to give an overview of her reasons for wanting to apply for the position. Lynn Cavicchi asked
if there were any particular skills or work experience that would support Kris in the position on the Audit
Committee. Kris explained that she had a finance background, with a focus on municipal/bond finance. She also
is an attorney and would bring legal expertise to her work with the committee. Members of the BOS thanked
Kris for volunteering to serve and commented favorably on her qualifications and experience.
Chairman Trowbridge asked for a motion to appoint Kris Moussette to the Audit Committee for a two-year term;
motion made by Frank DelVecchio.

Seeing there were no other points of discussion, Lynn Cavicchi called for a motion to adjourn the School
Committee meeting at 6:40 p.m. A motion was made by Linda Fernando and seconded by Lauren Scher.
