Librarians reports. The librarians' reports were reviewed and highlights discussed.
Travel book bundles. With vacation season approaching Catherine is preparing 'travel
packages' of three books each for various destinations.
Budget. Materials purchases have been accurately managed to finish the fiscal year.
NEW BUSINESS
Part time children's librarian position. Catherine has advertised to fill the position but
responses have been limited. She hopes to schedule interviews around the last week in June.
Staff development. Catherine is continuing to work on projects for staff development and
reported that more of the staff is taking part in monthly book displays. Many staff members
participated in the recent'Books in Bloom' display.
Space planning. Catherine has engaged consultant Anna Popp to visit the library on June
13. The goal is to make the library more user friendly, to create 'curb appeal.' Ms. Popp is a
consultant to Mass. Library Systems.
Staff evaluations. Employee evaluations will be starting the week of June 11.
Next meeting. September 8. The me ting wa ad' mrpd at 9:45 a.m.
