Due to the absence of Mr. Annino, this meeting was considered to be a workshop and the
meeting began at 7:14 a.m.
Mr. Kozlowski asked that the group focus on what changes would need to be made to the
License Agreement itself.
Mr. Ross stated that he would like to have a discussion about pedestrians attempting to
cross Route 140 from the alternate entrance. Chief Sellon stated that there are definitely
issues with the pedestrian crossing at this area due to conceit -goers meeting rides at 800
North Main Street. There is a lighting issue there as well and the crossing is holding up
traffic. Mr. Montgomery asked if the Town had the ability to limit the taxi service to
picking up only in Lot 1. He agrees that pedestrians are a problem but believes that the
taxi service is the bulk of the problem. He suggested that he could reassign security in
the lots in order to head off pedestrians before they arrive at the path. He also suggested
that he could move the taxi wait line further down, and Chief Sellon agreed.
Chief Sellon addressed the lighting along Rt. 140. Mr. Montgomery stated that there is a
light on every pole during the concert season, between the entrance and the highway. Mr.
Ross stated that 140 is a state highway and may require state approval for any changes in
lighting. Mr. Kozlowski believes that patrons are avoiding picking up in the lots because
they don't want to deal with traffic. Chief Sellon also believes that patrons are walking
to the train station. Chief Sellon believes that it would be beneficial to contact the owner
Chief Boldrighini asked if there would be doctors in the compound during events and he
would like to know the schedule. Mr. Montgomery stated that this will be part of the pre -
show meetings. Chief Boldrighini indicated that there were minor things that needed to
be corrected, i.e. trash barrels, shelving, dry erase board, effective computers and radio
set up. Regarding the logistics of getting rescues in and out of the compound, he would
like to test it when the weather gets better. Mr. Montgomery stated that they will not be
paving the entire area. They are going to use crushed stone in some spots. Area would
be prepped before the fence goes up and then it will be tested. Chief Boldrighini is
pleased with the amount of privacy that the compound will provide. Bruce believes it
will be safer and will allow for more space. They will also be raising the catch basin so
the area will be flat.
Chief Sellon reiterated his need for a secure area for juveniles and having security there
to monitor that area. Mr. Montgomery agreed.
Mr. Kozlowski asked if a schedule of shows had been released yet, and Mr. Montgomery
indicated that there is a schedule available but that it will have additions. Mr.
Montgomery indicated that the Identity Tour had not been scheduled.
Mr. Ross stated that he will be sending an invoice for Accident and Sickness coverage for
the details to Mr. Montgomery. He believes that, with the establishment of some
experience on the policy, the rates will begin to come down.
Mr. Ross stated that he believes that the presence of Metro in the lawn area has been a
good addition and Mr. Montgomery stated that he has received positive feedback.
The meeting ended at 7:55
