Members Present: Kevin McNatt, Chairman; Nancy Wall, Vice -Chairman; Lorilee Fish, Secretary;
Charles Boehm. Absent: Rosemarie Sirois
1. Open Meeting 7:12pm
2. Election of officers:
■ Motion made by Nancy Wall to nominate Kevin McNatt for Chairman, 2"d Chuck Boehm by,
all in favor.
• Motion made by Chuck Boehm to nominate Nancy Wall for Vice -Chairman, 2"d by Kevin
McNatt, all in favor.
■ Motion made by Kevin McNatt to nominate Lorilee Fish for Secretary, 2' by Nancy Wall, all
in favor.
3. Motion made by Chuck Boehm to accept the August 9, 2013 minutes, 2"d by Nancy Wall, three in
favor, one abstention.
4. Update and Discussion Grants
UPDATE: 2013 Requests for Grants:

Parks & Recreation:
Cemetery maintenance for 1 year - One year extension granted 2014 ($1,000)
Beautification Committee: Purchase outdoor plaque to "Key" the historic events shown in the wall
mural in the underpass at Route 106 and the train station — On hold (($5,000)
Purchase of a new sign for the Office for the Aging and Library Open ($1,500)
Doll E. Daze: Signage for DOT advertising the museum has lyr extension ($2,638)
UPDATE: 2014 Requests for Grants:

Parks & Recreation Department:
Tennis Program: Lobster Machine $ 1,917.
Movies with the Stars: New Movie Screen 690.
Friends of Memorial Park: Banner for Rte. 106 — Fund Raising Projects 650.
Mural Committee: Brochure for history if the rural, contributors, community, etc. 2,560.
Mansfield Historical Commission: Completion of plaque cleaning at N Common area 1,200.
Schools:
Band Parents: Purchase a Glockenspiel 4,510.
Mansfield Girls softball Assoc.: Renovation of 2 softball fields, East Street and QMS $10,350.
Other:
Our Daily Bread: Purchase commercial carpet cleaner and replace window 800.
Pop Warner Football: Purchase uniforms for new older age category of player 3,040
Motion made by Nancy Wall to accept the above recommended grants to be submitted to the Board
of Selectmen for final approval, 2nd by Chuck Boehm, with the following abstentions:
Park & Recreation: Lorilee Fish
Mansfield Youth Soccer: Lorilee Fish
Beautification Committee Projects and Mural Project: Nancy Wall
Mural Project: Kevin McNatt
Grant money approved: $25,717
Balance in Account: $8.18
All in favor.
