Discussions:
The following is a brief summary of discussions:
1. Community Updates
• Mansfield — Town Meeting approved funding for land appraisals of Kok and
Reilly properties.
• Foxboro — Nothing new to report.
• Norton — No new meetings with Wheaton College. Town has hired a lawyer to
assist them in preparing/reviewing the IMA Special Legislation and District
Agreement.
2. Potential Funding
• Rep. Jay Barrows noted there is nothing new on the Housing and Economic
Development Funding application. Good news though in that appears
Congressman Barney Frank has obtained $127,000 STAG Grant for some type of
assistance for this project. Details to come.
3. Mansfield- Foxborough- Norton District Legislation
• Much of the discussion centered around the most recent Special Legislation
drafted by Attorney Wilkins. Getting close. Goal is to have final draft for use at
next meeting.
• Target set for 90% draft of District Agreement by end of August.
• Need Attorney Wilkins to issue opinion on whether town meeting actions are
required on Legislation or District Agreement based on prior votes.

4. Other Items
• IMA Meeting Minutes of June 41h are acceptable. (No vote)
5. Action Items
• IMA Members to submit comments on Final Draft of Legislation and Prelim -
Draft District Agreement to Lee Azinheira prior to next meeting.
