Discussions:
The following is a brief summary of discussions:
1. Community Updates
• Mansfield —Nothing new from Mansfield. No word from Easton.
• Foxborough — Selectmen's subcommittee met with the Water and Sewer
Commissioners but nothing new to report at this time.
• Norton —No new meetings with Wheaton College. Meeting with Wheaton
representatives set for Sept 28t" to discuss status.
2. Filing Status of Regional District Legislation
• Rep. Jay Barrows had the draft legislation reviewed by state house staff. It is also
being reviewed by town counsels. Foxborough counsel recently sent in some
questions which attorney Wilkens answered.
3. Discussion on Preliminary Draft of Regional District Agreement
• Committee members spent most of the meeting reviewing comments received to
date from committee members and walking through the 8 -12 -09 draft.
4. Other Items
• Funding —Nothing new to report
• Land Appraisals - Lee Azinheira has begun the land appraisal process and will get
a schedule from the three appraisers. Appraisals should start next week.
5. Approve Minutes
• The minutes of 9 -3 -09 were approved.
