The following is a brief summary of discussions: 1. SRF Loan for Kok Property • Mansfield has a $1.75 Million town meeting authorization to purchase effluent recharge property for the WPCF. However, Norton has the SRF approved loan with MassDEP. Jack Hamm believes there is a way for MassDEP to transfer the SRF loan over to Mansfield so they can purchase since it benefits both communities. All three communities would pay for it via the existing IMAs. Mr. Hamm will discuss with Steve McCurdy who oversees the SRF program. 2. Discussion of District Formation Status • David Young provided a brief overview of ongoing items required to form the District which MassDEP fully supports. He indicated the Special Legislation required for the District to be created had been approved. There is one land owner willing to sell their land while the second one has backed off for time being. • Three towns are actively working on a District Agreement which describes the operating Arles. Latest version is dated June 15, 2010. Copy will be sent to MassDEP for information at this point. 3. Other • Mr. Young asked MassDEP representatives to see if they could have a formal comment letter sent on the IIydrogeological Study, CDM conducted on the two sites for effluent recharge and submitted to MassDEP. • John McLauglin reviewed the status of the STAG Grant that Mansfield received to help fund some of these efforts. He indicated the $125K grant is a reimbursement and asked Lee Azinheira to submit copies of paid invoices from previous CWMP work. Adjourn 5:00 pm
