1: Meeting caped to,order at 6.30 pm.
The group discussed the ranking process and the evaluation sheets for each of the 12
proposals. It was decided that, using a large sheet of paper, a column would be labeled
for each consultant with a row for each reviewer. Based on the total score of each
proposal, a ranking from 1-12 would be established. Each committee member would
then rank the proposals accordingly, with 1 the highest and 12 the lowest. Following the
ranking, each column was totaled and it was decided by the committee that the four
lowest scores would be considered the "short list."
The firms were ranked with the following scores: Bluestone Planning Group 22, Cecil
Group 24, Maguire Group 25, SEA Consultants 28, Earth Tech 31, RKG 37, Lozano 39,
E Squared 40, Pare 44, Fuss & O'Neill 57, Stoss 63.
The group then discussed each of the four short list candidates: Bluestone Planning
Group, The Cecil Group, Maguire Group and SEA Consultants.
Upon completion of the rankings of the proposals, the steering committee agreed to meet
on April 5, 2004 at 6:30 pm in order to hear presentations by each of the finalists. It was
the consensus of the group that review of the proposals alone was not enough; the
committee needed interaction with each consultant.
It was decided that all proposers would be notified by email on Tuesday, March 23, 2004
that they had either been selected for the short list, or had not, and thanking them all for
participating in the process. The,four finalists would be scheduled at specific times
during the meeting of April 5.
