BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING - JANUARY 16, 2016
Attendance: Nancy Breef-Pilz, Leonard Epstein, Dana Hourigan, Marianne Mackie, John
Walgreen, and Director Catherine Coyne. Nancy convened the meeting at 8:20 a.m.
Secretary's reports. Minutes of the November and December meetings were reviewed and
approved.
Treasurer's report. Functions of the treasurer were outlined to the new board members.
The board tabled appointment of a new treasurer.
Librarian's reports. The librarians' reports were reviewed and discussed.
Staffing. The library will probably need to hire a second substitute since Amy is expecting
another baby. Kristin will likely be able to add a few hours to her schedule. Catherine is
interviewing candidates for a third page to work three hours on three days a week.
OLD BUSINESS
FY 2017 budget. Catherine will meet with Bill Ross on January 25. Current projections
are a $2.8 million reduction in the town's overall budget.
NEW BUSINESS
Board of Trustees. Catherine welcomed the two new board members and will prepare an
updated contact information list.
Next meeting. February 6, 2016. The meeting was adjourne�at 9:30 a.m.
