The Animal Welfare Committee meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m. at Mansfield Airport.
Approve butes
Motion: To approve the minutes from May 17th, 2018. Passes.
Cats
• Carol recommended a calming collar that is available at Petco. Sharon will get some
for Blue Jasper and other stressed cats.
• More limited ingredient food has been ordered for Blue Jasper. Sharon said Ragdolls
are prone to IBS.
Sharon will provide information about Pearl, another Ragdoll, and we will post her on
the web. Pearl won't be coming to the shelter because of her herpes, and possible risk
of spreading the virus to other cats.
Dogs
• Carol will ask Sue Thibedeau to check to see if Zeke is microchipped. If not,
Carol will ask Sue to have it done when Zeke goes for vaccinations.
Mocha may have arthritis in her shoulders. Denise will provide the lab report
results next week.
