Motion: To open the Board of Selectmen's meeting at 6:30PM(DelVecchio/Aptowltzy0isses 5
Mr. Neil Rhein arrived at 6:35PM.
Chairman Trowbridge asked if the Board wanted to take aposition on Article 29 and Article 30.
Motion: To support Article 29 and 30. (DelVecchio/Rhein)
Mr. DelVecchio commented that he doesn't want to support these two articles, but he does want a zoning
change that was within the law. Mr. Aptowitz commented that the Planning Board did not do the charge that
the Selectmen wanted for this issue. Mr. DeRensis stated that currently the Articles are set up in away that
trigger a ballot vote and the Selectmen did not want a ballot vote. Mr. Schoonveld commented that he
supports and would like each of the five articles to pass as is and that a ballot vote would be required
regardless. He stated that if we do nothing either could be allowed in the Cabot Industrial Park or Downtown.'

Motion: To support Article 29 and 30 if an amendment was made to not require a ballot vote.
(DelVecchio/Rhein) Passes 4:1 (Schoonveld-Nay)
Motion: To move to the Auditorium for Town Meeting at 6:46Pm and adjourn at end of Town Meeting.
(Aptowitz/DelVecchio) Passes 5:0
At 7:10PM the Board spoke with Mr. Shaun Burke, Town Planner and Mr. Paul DeRensis, Town Counsel and
received new information and reconsidered their vote.
Motion: To support Article 29 and 30. (DelVecchio/Rhein) Passes 5:0
Motion: To sign the TIF Agreement for Rolf C. Hagan at 7:47PM. (Schoonveld/DelVecchio) Passes 5:0
