The Animal Welfare Committee meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. at Mansfield Airport.
Approve Minutes
Motion: To approve the minutes from February 2018. Passes.
Veterinary
Lizzy is not eating and has not adjusted well. Since Lizzy is 11 years old, Sharon
approved scheduling a senior blood panel.
Current Animals
Mary suggested that in the future we should label the plastic canisters that contain dry cat
food. Either cut out the bag's label and tape it to the plastic bin, or tape a piece of paper
with the brand and type of food.
Miscellaneous
• Joan Brandt is the new, selectmen appointed alternate. Joan will complete Lori Zola's
term. Lori resigned because she resides most of the year in Florida.
• Carol will send an email to shift captains, reminding them that only Jeff can authorize
approval of out of town surrenders of cats or dogs.
