You have successfully passed the YMCA Pool Operators On Location Course. The
course results will be forwarded to The YMCA certification office in Chicago. You should
receive your card from the YMCA in four to five weeks. Your YMCA certification is non -
lapsing at the current time. However, should the State decide in the future to require re-
certification (usually every three to five years) you may be required to attend a course and
pass the test again. Should this situation occur, we will contact you. It is our policy to offer
recertification courses at a reduced rate.
Should you have the need to replace your card, you will have to notify the YMCA
in Chicago. The address and phone number will be sent to you with your card. There is a
charge for this service ($8.00).
I enjoyed meeting you and it was a good experience for me to work with persons other
than YMCA staff. Rememeber this course is just the beginning. There is no substitute for
hands on learning. Use your book as a guide.
