The Animal Welfare Committee meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. at Mansfield Airport.
Approve Minutes
Motion: To approve the minutes from January 2018. Passes.
ACO Report
• Five hundred pounds of kitty litter remain in the storage trailer. We will need more
litter in the spring, and Jeff will contact the source from which the current free litter
came.
• Easton would like to bring animals to Mansfield Animal Shelter in emergencies. Jeff
will get more information to share with AWC.
Maintenance
Advantage Appliance has a top -loading, commercial washer/dryer set, with a seven year
warranty, available at a reduced price. Sharon will follow-up. Jeff will look into the
possibility of the town paying, or sharing the cost with Mansfield Shelter Friends.
Miscellaneous
There are no changes to make to guidelines for the shelter Facebook page. The policy of
not replying to posting will continue, except in cases such as missing Mansfield dogs
from other Mansfields around the country.
