Town Manager
Mr. Dumas explained the capital request for $340,000 for MIS, including $40,000 for website
design, $10,000 for maintenance (the first year will come out of free cash) and $300,000 for
phase 1 of financial software.
Mr. Schoonveld asked if there would be a competitive bid for the financial software and how
many phases it would include. Mr. Dumas said there have been meetings with Munis and
TylerForms. Mr. Stanbrook said they want to phase it in over time. Mr. Schoonveld said the
committee would need to know the full cost. Mr. Cerretani said there should be a five-year plan.
Mr. Feely said he thinks the committee needs more information and suggested putting it off a
year or meeting again. Mr. Dumas said he would like to have another meeting by the end of
April. Mr. Feely suggested using a placeholder on the warrant; Mr. Epstein said there should be
a ballpark figure.
Town Cleric
Ms. Staples explained her request for an 8'x25' election trailer, to be parked at DPW and used
for storage. The estimated $12,677 does not meet the definition of a capital request.
