The Town of Mansfield invites sealed bids from interested contractors for "RFB# DPW17-
03A Shingle Roofing Services various locations FY 17 -FY 18" in Mansfield,
Massachusetts, in accordance with the specifications and documents. The Town of
Mansfield will receive sealed bids at the DPW Office until 10:00AM on June 02, 2017 at
which time they shall be opened and read aloud. Bids must be in a sealed envelope and on
the outside be clearly marked with the date and description of the bid. Bids received after
the hour named will not be considered.
The Project consists of: Shingle Roofing Services various locations as needed by the
various departments within the Town of Mansfield
Wage rates as determined by the Mass. Commissioners of the Department of Labor and
Industries apply to this project. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in an amount
that is no less than five (5%) percent of the proposal amount made payable to The Town of
Mansfield. Bid deposits shall be a certified check, bid bond, treasurer's check or cashier's
check issued by a responsible bank or trust company. A Performance Bond, Payment
Bond and Certificate of Insurance will be required. Bidding procedures shall be in
accordance with the General Laws, Chapter 149 Section 44A through 44J as most recently
amended, and other applicable laws.

a hard copy at Projectdog's physical location, or request a free project CD. It is the sole
responsibility of the contractor, subcontractor, vendor, individual and/or corporation to
review all ADDENDA prior to bid opening at www.Projectdog.corn or at Projectdog's

Contractors are required to be DCAM certified to bid on this work and must provide an
update statement in the category of roofing with said bid response. General bidders must
include a current DCAM Prime Contractor Certificate of Eligibility and a signed DCAM
Prime Contractor Update Statement.
The Town of Mansfield reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or to accept any
bid or portion thereof deemed by them to be in the best interest of the Town. Bidders are
reminded that the Town Officials other than those listed above neither individually not
collectively are to be contacted, nor will they discuss any bids prior to the scheduled
opening. Prior questions or concerns about the bid should be presented to Michael Ahern.
