Present: Roger Achille, Chan, Bernie Dolan, Vice Chair; David McCarter and Brad Wills,
Board of Selectmen
Shaun Burke, Director of Planning and Development; John D' Agostino, Town Manager
1. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.
2. Discussion of Reduction of Capital Improvements Number
Following the last Finance Committee meeting, the School Department has volunteered to
defer their requests ($89,600) until the Fall Special Town Meeting. In addition, the
Department of Public Works, Public Buildings, has volunteered to defer the Memorial Park
storage building ($50,000); and the Recreation Commission has deferred the work on the
Plymouth Street backfields ($25,000). These reductions will bring the CIP number down
$164,600, to $834,657.
Motion: To support the new Capital hmprovements budget of $834,657.
