Nicholas Riccio, Interim Town Manager, Shaun P. Burke, Director of Planning and
Development, Lee Azinheira, DPW Director, Mike Ahern, DPW Special Projects
Mr. Azinheira supplied the committee with additional intormatron on his generator
request. He explained the actual cost would be $12,000, not $14,000. The cost will be
reduced proportionally because an extra two months' rent has been paid on the generator.
Motion: To support the request for $12,000 for a DPW generator

The committee discussed meeting on Tuesdays, at 6:30 p.m., and whether there is enough
time to discuss matters fully prior to Town Meeting. Mr. Jodice said he would like to
take enough time to discuss the requests and not rush through the capital budget at the
end of the process. The committee discussed differing opinions on the process and had a
< general discussion of funding options.
< Mr. Jodice suggested adding dates after April 27. Ms. Lavin suggested the committee
may want to invite the Finance Committee to the April 27 meeting to begin a discussion.
Mr. Trowbridge suggested involving the Finance Committee in order to get an update on
what funding might be available.
Mr. Jodice said he would like to get the capital plan back into the budget. The committee
discussed various means of funding the capital budget.

February 2, 2010 - Police, Fire
March 2, 2010 - Schools
March 16, 2010 - DPW, Water
April 6, 2010 - Engineering, MIS
April 27, 2010 — Discussion '
