Chief Boldrighini explained his department's request to replace the Rescue 34 Ambulance,
$273,637; with Auto Pulse Resuscitation Equipment $13,000; and Power Stretcher $18,000
The ambulance will be funded from the ambulance revolving fund. Chief Boldrighini said they
have most of the equipment to go on the ambulance. There is additional state -mandated
equipment, including a power stretcher ($18,000), loading mechanism ($6,200), auto pulse
($13,000) and intravenous pumps and spare ($10,000). Chief Boldrighini said they are looking
at block purchasing of the equipment with other departments. The existing Rescue 34 will go to
MEMA and their ambulance will be retired.
Mr. Feely suggested looking at the equipment purchases as part of the ambulance purchase and
using the ambulance revolving fund.
Mr. Stanbrook said there is $260,000 in the ambulance revolving account.
Chief Boldrighini said the purchase will happen mid- to late -year.
Mr. Trowbridge said if there is a shortfall, CIP may be able to come up with the difference.
Chief Boldrighini said he would like to be able to fund the equipment within the parameters of
the ambulance revolving fund.
Mr. Feely said if the state requires more, the town may need to exceed what is in the ambulance
fund. Mr. Feely stated that he would have no problem supporting the additional cost of state -
mandated equipment.
Chief Boldrighini explained he will be requesting funding for the Plymouth Street Fire Station
floors, windows, ceilings and pavement in the next few years.
Discussion followed about the history of the Plymouth Street Fire Station, its location, initial
cost, the number of years it has been in service and its current issues.

Ms. Zlatkova explained her department's request for GIS Aerial Imagery, $60,000 and Digitizing
Records, Phase 1, $160,000
The GIS information gathered in the flyover is used by many departments, including Police, Fire,
DPW, Water, Wastewater and Electric. The flyover allows the GIS manager to add layers of
information to the town's system. The committee discussed whether the flyover is software or
equipment.
Laser fische storage would involve bringing in a company to catch up with digitizing town
records; the town would have to decide how to go forward from there. The cost, time,
searchability and ease of access would have to be considered.
Mr. Ross said the Light Department has included distributive generation to their budget.
Motion: To adjourn at 6:55 p.m. (Cleary -Trowbridge) All in favor. PASSES
