In connection with dog officer expenses, the T.M. was

efficient.
2) Town Meeting - It was noted that because of printing dead lines we
would have to have the warrant to the printer by
3/7/86. This leaves 7 weeks to review, interview and
ma e recommendations on the entire budget. To this end,
the town manager and the finance committee set the
following schedule of departmental interviews and
reviews.
-2-
Sec. 13 Stabalization Fund - The Town Manager and the
Finance Committee are all in agreement on the need of a
stabalization fund. To date, we have $196,000 in the
fund. The Town Manager is recommending that the
hotel/motel tax (test $200,000) be rolled over into this
fund.
It was also suggested that we compare our stabalization
fund with the surrounding towns.
Sec. 14 Bond Rating - Is a result of 10-13.
Chairman Ed McQuaid introduced a pie chart. The chart
will be used to illustrate to the town meeting
participants exactly where their money goes, e.g.
school, municipal, etc. To this end we have requested
that all school related expenses be separated from
municipal expenses.
