FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING
APRIL 14, 1986
Called to order by Chairman, Ed McQuaid at 7:00 P.M.. 6 members present.
PURPOSE 1. Discuss - Transfers from the Reserve Fund.
2. A possible change in positions on articles in the special
town meeting.
3. Possible budget discussion with the School Committee.
1. Transfer #29 - Assistant Building Inspector's fees
$390. The account is deficit. K. Sullivan motion to
transfer, Second Bob Whitney. 7-0 in favor.
Transfer #30 - Assistant Building Inspector salary
$190. The account is in deficit. John Pierce -
motion to transfer. Second Fred Mueller. 7-0 in
favor.
Reserve Fund to date $68,721.17
Less Transfers 29 and 30 - 580.00

2) Special town meeting - Article #1 (Hurricane Gloria)
Expenses are reimbursable - Finance Committee revoted
7-0 in favor.
3) Ed McQuaid - polled the Finance Committee to see what
our position would be if we recommended another
$40,000 for the school budget. We said we would go
along with it.
