Ideas: 1, drop -in -center 2. arcade 3. place to "hang out" with music 4. a dance 5. a supper 6. have teenagers teach classes using their skills Decision: The vestry and The Recreation Commission decided to try the "dance" idea. First, however, they will hold a meeting with town officials (Town Manager, Chief of Police, Board of Selectmen, etc.) and the general public (teenagers, adults) to discuss what they would want in a dance and to see if we could get their support. At this meeting, The Recreation Commission and Vestry will present their idea and hopefully get feedback. Ideas: (for paying for the dance) 1. get money from merchants 2, get money from large organizations 3. write letters to churches to get support 4. run different kinds of programs 5. family support 6.
