December 14, 1992
Members Present: Commission members Betty O'Connor, Bill Ciavarra
and Parks & Recreation Director Lorilee Fish
Members Absent: Excused: Ron Reeves
Unexcused: Maryanne Panaro-Grady
Meeting of December 14, 1992 - quorum was not met.
Topics that were discussed by the board members who were present.
Ice Capades - Sunday, January 3, 1993 - 1:00 P.M.
Lorilee still needs supervisors to go with the group. Betty volunteered
to be on standby if Lorilee can't find anyone else.
Sesame Street Program - To be held in the month of February. Bill and Betty
were in favor of the project, but wanted to wait for Ron's and Maryanne's
input and approval.
Ice Technology - Chemicals will be coming this week. Bill commented that
we should try to get the Skating Party underway on December 27th. Lorilee
` has little hope that the ground will freeze to a minimum of 4" to 6" before
December 27th. Bill commented he would still like to ,try to get the new
ice ready. -
Budget Meeting sometime in January - Lorilee asked the board for their,`help
for the meeting in January to support her request for a full time secretary
for the Parks & Recreation Department. She needs the help.
Recreation Commission Meeting - December 28, 1992. Discussion to cancel
meeting for December 28th to January. Lorilee will be unable to attend this
meeting. Will check with Ron for decision.
