Tennis Instructor - Debbie Bickoff %,ras hired for the High School and the
Adult Tennis Program. Ms Bickoff is a professional tennis teacher and very
qualified in her field. Kristen suggested that she would like to work her
into the program as a supervisor and then supervise the entire tennis program.
CIP Funds for Memorial Park and Plymouth Street Project- Town Meeting.
Cost for Memorial Park Repairs -',$25,000
Plymouth Street Project -'`$50,000:
Together We Can meeting on Wednesday, April 14 at'7PM - July 4th Picnic
Lorilee and Betty attended. Both commented that they were very discouraged
because only 4 people showed up. TWC, Women of Today, Lorilee and Betty.
There will be one more meeting, May 20th and the final decision will be made
whether to have a July 4 Picnic.
Betty ccnnented that they should keep this event simple for the first year
to see how it goes. The "Together We Can" group ,are suggesting events that
are too big and too many.;
Ray suggested that after their next meeting they will have a better idea
if this project will proceed and then Judy Stone can let us know what the
decision is.
Ice Technology - Lorilee spoke to Bill Williams and he agreed to send a letter
to'ITI, through town council. Lorilee is prepaing a list of points for
Bob Mangirarti to work from.
Tennis Courts - Tennis Courts are finally clean.It took 2 men and 60hrs.
of hard work.
Fishing Derby, May 8 - Registrations are coming in daily. The Jaycees will
be doing coffee, donuts and soda sale at the derby. We have 10 tagged fish.
If anyone catches a tagged fish they can come to the Recreation office and
receive a prize. This is only good until October 31st.
Senior citizen Fishing Derby - June 5. WE NEED HELP.
Garage Sale- May 22 - Registrations are coming in. Volunteers to help sell
ducks are Betty and Maryanne.
Nancy Grant - Photographer - The Town Manager, Bill Williams is suggesting
to all departments that they have photographs taken of their meetings,
activities, etc. 'throughout the year for the annual report. Nancy Grant
is being suggested as the photographer. She will be charging $25 per activity
plus the cost for the film and chemicals.' Each department will have to cover
the cost of the 'shoot.

Maryanne - Its important to get publicity.
Betty - use pictures for both, newspaper publicity and annual town report.
Bill and Ray - Try for one activity and see how it goes.

Consensus of the board - lets try the photographer for one activity
and see how the publicity is covered. All were in agreement.
