BUSINESS•
Metro West League - Lorilee reported to the board that Paul
St. Martin discussed uniforms for the girls, they need them
and they settled on 36 uniforms of :shorts and a<reversible "T"
at a cost of '$22.50 per. They expect to donate ,$1200 same as
last year and this 'should cover the cost of the uniforms for
the girls. What they would like to do is replace the girls
uniforms this yearandthe boys next year. The boys in the
8th grade need shorts which we .estimated at $8 per ='$96.
If they need the shorts they will increase the donation by $100
to cover the expense.
The next meeting for 'Metro West is Thursday at 7:00 P.M. to
finalize teams and coaches. The team rosters will be posted
in the lobby Friday afternoon and then the players and parents €
will be notified for the final registration and payment fee
f of $60.00.
( Youth Basketball registration - Grades 1-2 session "A" is just
about full. The other grades and times are still open. Lorilee
sent letters to last years coaches to invite them to coach again
this year.
Logo Contest - The winners, Nick and Suzanne D'Alessandro were
at the Halloween Parade to be introduced and to receive their
check. ;The logo banner received a'warm reception from those
who were present. Lorilee is working on .the letterhead with

Families" would like to setup a table at the craft show and
sell raffle tickets. The 'drawing would be on December:1 and
the prize is 50 hours of baby-sitting. The raffle tickets are
?5.
Comments from the board - who are Mansfield Families? We do
not have enough information on this organization. The consensus
of the board is to let them hand out flyers on what their
organization is about.
The Qualters Middle School also asked if they could sell raffle
tickets at the iCraft 'Show. They are raffling ;off a Shed that
will be built in the yard :of the winner. Cost _:$1.00 aiticket.
The decision of the board is that they can sell the tickets.

Elk's Club would like to sell tickets for their raffle. The

sell raffle tickets in the cafeteria, Ron seconds, all in favor.
Together We Can and the YMCA - Meeting of October 27,'1993
Ron reported that Mansfield is very interested in having the
Y in the community. The Y received a lot of support from The
Rotary and a letter of support from the Board of Selectmen.',
Lorilee and Ron will meet with David Scarchilli who is the task
force chairman for Mansfield to bring the YMCA to Mansfield
to discuss the needs that the Y can provide that we do not.
Lorilee made a strong, comment that we do not have enough
facilities for our own programs and ;the Y could directly compete
with our programs. Such as Youth Basketball, Pre -School etc.
Halloween Parade - We held the parade at Qualters Middle School
due to the weather and everything went smoothly. Attendance
r was estimated at 800. The judges did a great job. Merl-in's
