November 13, 2001
Attendees Present: Dave Leary, Chairman, Danielle Fish,

Kathy Codella, Assistant to the Recreation Director
1. The meeting was called to order at 6:25 PM.
2. Approval of Minutes:
Minutes of the Recreation Commission Meeting held on October 15, 2001.
Motion: By Charlotte Falkner<to accept the minutes from October 15, 2001.
Seconded by Danielle Fish. All in favor.Motion passes, 3-0.
3. Reservation Requests:
None.
4. Tabled:
A. The program participant policy for the Americans with Disabilities Act is on hold.
B. Dick Lewis has not advised the Recreation Department as to the Open Space Conservation
Commission's findings.

5. ±Questions and Comments:
None.
6. Old Business:
The Commission review Robert S. Mangiaratti's memo regarding the League and Program
Behavior Guidelines.
7. New Business:
A. Mike Ahern does not foresee the closing of any fields regarding spring use.
B. The Commission is interested in becoming involved in the Mansfield Sister City event
and plan to attend the scheduled meetings.
C. The team coaches have been instructed to hold a bathroom break prior to using the fields
r due to the lack of facilities.
\ D. The Commission discuss selling tickets to Disney on Ice scheduled for December 27-30
at the group rate price without the use of busses.
E. The Tree Lighting Ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, November 25 at 4 PM.
F. Motion: By Charlotte Falmer to approve an increase to $75.00 per exhibitor
at the 2002 Craft Fair. Seconded by Danielle Fish. All in favor.
Motion passes, 3-0.
S. Motion: By Charlotte Falkner to adjourn. Seconded by Danielle Fish. All in favor.
Motion passes, 3-0.
9. Adjournment: 6:55 PM.
10. Next Commission Meeting: Monday, December 10, 2001 at 6:00 PM.
