Attendees Present: Dave Leary; Chairman, Lynne McDonnell; Clerk,
Danielle Fish, Charlotte Falkner, Caren Levine
Lorilee Fish, Recreation Director
Kathy Codella, Assistant to the Recreation Director
1. The meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM.
2. Approval of Minutes:
Minutes of the Recreation Commission Meeting held on November 13, 2001.
Motion: By Charlotte Falkner to accept the minutes from November 13, 2001
Seconded by Danielle Fish. All in favor. Motion passes, 5-0.
3. Reservation Requests:
None.
4. Tabled:
A. The program participant policy for the Americans with Disabilities Act is on hold.
B. The Open Space Conservation Commission Meeting is scheduled for Monday,
February 11, 2002 at 7:30 PM.

5. Questions and Comments:
None.
6. 'Old Business:
The Commission discuss the League and Program Behavior Guidelines draft.
Motion: By Danielle Fish to approve the current draft of the League and Program Behavior
Guidelines. Seconded by Charlotte Falkner. All in favor. Motion passes, 5-0.
7. ' New Business:
A. The Recreation Department was requested to use a zero based budget, with no increases
with the exception of payroll, which is contractual.
B. Dave Leary and Danielle Fish have spoken with Kelli Baker in regard to the Mansfield
Sister Cities program. A meeting in mid-January will be held to review additional details.
CC. Mike Ahern has recommended no additional spending and therefore a CIP for 2003
will not be necessary.
D. There are 100 tickets reserved for Disney on Ice with a waiting list of 12 people.
E. There are 900 tickets reserved for Bubblemania scheduled for December 28.
8. Motion: By Charlotte Falkner to adjourn. Seconded by Danielle Fish. All in favor.
Motion passes, 5-0.'
9. Adjournment: 6:45 PM.
10. Next Commission Meeting: Monday, January 14, 2002 at 6:00 PM.
