Meeting called to order at 8 p.m. by President Hornung. Present
-er' Vernon, Snell, Corliss, Cucinotta, Marshall, Directorand
nssi_stant Director. Noonan is vacationing in Florida.
Secretary and Treasurers reports were read, reviewed and approved.
Corlis reported on the buckets for elderly use for sand for ice.
He wi'l p,�rsue further for the next season.
Correspondence: Conference and meeting announcements. Gale
will attend Director's meeting DEA in Framingham tomorrow (she
reported to me that it was a fruitful meeting) President Hornung
is int -rested in attending a S. E. Regional Council on Aging MEETING
In Hyannis later this month.
Director's Report -
New Class in Ceramics - well received with 18 people already enrolled
Dutchmaid Fashion Show held on February 25 was a success
Gale will be on Vacation from April 20 through April 27 - Ada
will be available at that time
Bradlee shopping trips are being planned on trial basis
Needs Assessment Grant - 428 people already visited -
applied for extra funds to hire another visitor -interviewer
Assistant Director
270 people transported for 712 miles in February
Bingo game problems and solutions discussed
Room assignment problem on trip - Tour people left to solve
Old Business -
Cheese and Butter Giveaway - supply will be limited - possibly will
be used for those who could not apply at the.Town Hall last week
New Business -
May Appreciation Day - May 15
Program planning -- Exercise group and Craft show
possible slide presentation of events from the past
Refreshments - council and elderly can take care of this themselves
we have always had too much to eat
Discussion of Override and Gale's input from meetings with Directors
town manager and other town employees
Adjourned at 9 p.m. - Next Meeting - April 12 - don't forget to attend
