MEMBERS PRESENT: Rev. William F. Plug, Ruth Noonan, Dorothy Fielding,
Betty Mugford, and Barry Nordberg.
The meeting was called to order at 8 P.M.
Secretary's report was read and accepted.
Treasurer's report was read and accepted.
Correspondence was received as follows: letter from John Gorman
about more meals per week to be investigated.
Staff Report
Director's Report: Meetings: 6/18 Brockton/Boston -- Lobby
for supplemental budget for state funds for
fuel assistance for winter of '80-181.
Business: GATRA --- no news.
Newsletter grant --- letter of intent in.
working on proposal.
Woodworking --- done 7/10.
Grant awarded for fuel assistance contingent
upon Affirmative Action Plan.
Letter to CETA requesting position.
Letter to BCHCE requesting DEA Elder Service
position.
CETA workers.
Mansfield has new case manager from BCHCE ---
Nancy-Jane Haley.
Upcoming Events: Walpole Mall shopping trip,
July 16. Luncheon --- watch for news.
New Business: Representatives from the newsletter for senior
citizens presented their presentation. A discussion
followed --- Ruth motioned, Betty second --- that
', we accept their ideas and work to issue newsletter.

Voted to have contest for name of newsletter open
to all senior citizens of town. Prize to be $10
gift certificate.
Old Business: GATRA progress report. None.
Job description of director --- accepted with
corrections made --- Ruth motioned, Dot second ---

Pull Denture Access Program -- discussed and
accepted.--- Ruth motioned, Betty second.
Post Office fraud Squad. Seek 8/15 & 10/15 dates
D.I.,C. and Bicentennial Court.
Sent recommendation of Joan Secher as new member of Board ( to
selectmen).
The next meeting is 8/12/80.
