MDTUTES OF THE COUNCIL on AGING - March 10, 1987
monthly newsletter, was discussed. A broadsheet with all the facts about
aur new building and the new Library should be mailed out before Town
Meeting. This would be a joint venture with the Library committee.
Gale read a letter from GATRA in which it was brought out that
we are required to provide use of the van to handicapped on demand. There
is going to be a meeting with Gatra on Monday March 16th in which this
situation will be discussed. We have a client here in Mansfield who is
seeking more use of the van to get her to and from the Pumping Station
in Norton. Due to scheduling and limited hours of availability of our
drivers we are unable tp provide on demand service similar to Dial -A -
Ride. Gale will report on this meeting at our Xpril meeting.
At 10:15 Pm on a motion by Bob Marshall seconded by Joan Secher
the meeting was adjourned.
