President Joy Lee Eppes called the meeting to order.

Walgreen for services rendered.
As part of the program to update Board members on COA
activities and personnel, outreach workers Linda Adams :and
Evelyn Robinson were introduced to the Board. Each gave a
short presentation of her work with Mansfield Seniors.
Due to changing needs, Linda Adams' efforts are now mainly
directed toward the frail elderly. Coordination of services
forms a large part of her work. Since elderly services are
undertaken by so many different agencies this coordination
can be a daunting task. Linda's caseload of approximately
55 clients allows her to visit them once a month (more often
in special cases). Nursing home residents are seen
approximately once every six weeks.
Evelyn Robinson who :has been the SHINE coordinator for the
past three years, was hired two months ago (as a:result of
an EOEA grant) for the specific purpose of 'outreach to well
elders. Her efforts are directed to Seniors in Town who ;are
unaware of, or have not availed themselves of the services
and activities at the Center. She reported that her efforts
have been well received.
The Board members expressed their appreciation to Linda and
Evelyn for their untiring efforts on behalf of Mansfield's
Seniors and noted how fortunate we all are to have them as
part of the COA team.
J. Cuccinotta moved that the Budget Status and Warrants be
approved. E. Wood seconded and the motion was so voted.
Treasurer, E. Wood reported a $12.00 balance from the
previous month in the Special Events Fund. Monthly
