PRESENT: M.Butler, J.Cucinotta, J.Eppes, F.Nilson,
S.Walgreen, B.Wood; G.Farrugia, A.Milliken
Excused: J.Folan
Meeting called to order at 7:30.
Motions to approve February Board meeting minutes and Budget
Status and Warrants by J.Cucinotta; second, B.Wood.So voted.
Treasurer's Report: $311 in the Gift Account
DIRECTOR'S REPORT
State Senator Keating visited with Mansfield Seniors on
March 4, answered questions and addressed issues, of concern.
Town Manager and Selectmen A. Robinson also attended.
Area Community Council will sponsor a Human Service Stress
Relief Day, including a seminar entitled "S Can't Take it
Anymore. Gale and Staff plan to attend.
Activities for Seniors this month include: St. Patrick's Day
dinner on March 19 and Women of Today, Annual Senior
Citizens Program on March 26.
Senior Aide L.Benigni will 'return from sick leave on
March 22. A.Remillard has .returned to work.
Mansfield Seniors have assisted the Town Clerk and Town
Treasurer by stuffing envelopes with Excise Tax and
Census forms.
ASST.DIRECTOR'S REPORT
Van usage: 814 miles in February;; 399 passengers
616 individuals attended Center activities.
Cholesterol, diabetes and blood pressure clinic .held March c9
Twenty-four persons attended. Next clinic scheduled in June
OLD BUSINESS
Gale and C.Antonnuci of the Mansfield Housing Authority
attnded meeting with family of client who has allleged
harrassment. Set period of time :has been given family to
deal with issue.
NEW BUSINESS
Letter of appointment_ received for F.Nilson as Mansfield BES
representative.
Social Service worker will be included in COA Budget -to be
presented at Town Meeting.
