Meeting called to order: 7:37 PM
Motion to approve March 14, 1995 Board Meeting Minutes.,Unani'mouslyy
approved.
Treasurer's Report:
Gift Account $289.35
We had a decent winter so heating bills were not bad. Budget
status and Warrants accepted.
DIRECTOR'S REPORT:
Silver Dove Award (volunteers) to be held - April 24, 1995 -
2 PM at the State House in Boston.
Mental Health - Herb Richmond will be available 2 hours per
week for Counselling Services.
Leak in Rof in Dining Room - $500.00 cost to repair it and
other repairs. We might need a new roof in about 5 years.
More opinions will be coming in.
Spring Tea and Hat Show - April 21, 1995 (Friday) 12:00 noon.
Volunteer Day - Sturdy - April 25, 1995.
COA Volunteer Day - Brunch - 11-1:30 Friday, May 19, 1995.
Assistant Director's Report:
847 signed in at COA
Van travelled 1,519 miles
Carried 468 passengers
Dinner held for the Seniors at the Middle School was excellent.
Thank you to be sent, by Secretary from Board, for this lovely
event.
Hillside Adult Day Care has opened in Mansfield. Things seem to
be going well. 10-12 clients as of now, another 15 looking to
go in.
Trust Fund - $100,000 in Trust
$20,000 spendable to be used by certain individuals
who need it for Day Care.
"Move to provide $48.00 per month from this Trust Fund to Hill-
side for Mr. Galanti's care." Case to reviewed in six months.
Motion approved and carried unanimously.
Trust Fund to be reviewed by COA Director, Chairperson, and other
resources needed for guidance for wisdomatic input.
Motion approved and carried unanimously.
Review yearly once criteria in place.
Financial need? Frail/Elder - what does it mean? Gale will per-
sue screening Committee - perhaps Janet, Linda and one person
from COA Board. This is all just a thought now. More to come

down the road.
Long Range Budget planning postponed until next Board Meeting in May.
Next Board Meeting in May to include Library Trustees.
Joy Lee Eppes, Chairman is resigning as Board member as of May 31,
1995 to persue other avenues and interests.
Marie Vaisnoris, Secretary is resigning as Board Member as of May 31,
1995. She is moving to Foxboro and is unable to serve on Board if not
living in Mansfield.
New officers are as follows:
Jack Folan - Chairman
Beth Wood - Vice Chairman
Mary Butler - Treasurer
Secretary - ?? (vacant until September)
Motion approved and carried unanimously.
OLD BUSINESS:
Frank Nilson will be new Chairman of BSI Board
BSI Banquet will be held Friday, April 28, 1995 - 11:30 AM. In-
formation in your packet. All are invited to attend.
Jack Folan shared some information re Cablevision - Don't have a full
Committee as yet. He will keep us informed.
Marie Vaisnoris - reviewed her ongoing activities with the (LLD)
Learning Leadership Team.
