Meeting called to order at 7:30 PM
Motion to accept. January minutes - So voted
Motion to accept Treasurer's Report, Budget Status, warrants of January
2000 - So Voted
DIRECTOR'S REPORT:
Gale reported the electric bill seemed to be high, she was having it
checked out with Leslie - An audit may have to be taken of the building.
See copy of Director's Report for other information. (attached)
Gale reported that Debbie was offered the Asst. Director's job. Debbie
at this point has not decided.
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR'S REPORT:
COA sign -in 735 - GATRA 1,624 miles, 513 passengers, 419 elders - 80
non -elders
OLD BUSINESS:
GATRA Van - Draft of letter sent to Selectmen for Selectmen's meeting
for them to review
Ceiling fans discussed, bid awarded to Webber Electric, voted by both
Boards. -
NEW BUSINESS:
Fuel assistance Crisis, price of oil and gas up. Everything is going
okay, no problems or complaints to this point.
Women of Today donated a check for $700:00 for Fuel Assistance Acct.
BESI: Frank reported the next meeting will be the last Friday of
Febkuary.
Health Care Forum - Attleboro area COA's and health care organizations.
Scheduled for Friday, March 24ih from 9:30-11:30
At the Highland Country Club. - Invitations to be mailed to
¢I T.Manager, Selectmen and COA Board Members.
Computer Classes - Rising Star Computer Training. - 4 week Seniors Club.
Mar. 2 from 9:30-11:30 am. Franklin Ma. $50 per
Elder. Louise Baroncelti will attend. voted to pay $50 for
any Mansfield Senior who would like to attend.
Town Manger -Coffee Hour -on Feb. 17'h at 10 a.m. Second one this year.
Seniors really enjoy him coming to COA.
Plan on him visiting every three months or so.
Dating Game - Singles - Friday, February 18'h with a luncheon.
Nutrition Program - Some changes or caps put on program - through the grapevine.
ASA Conference - March 24-28 - San Diego, California.
New Computer - Gateway - approved and all specs went through the new MIS person
