This 9:00 AM on-site inspection and meeting was held in the
vicinity of 606 School Street in response to a report that
the School Street access to the Great Woods has been blocked
and that there exists a possible Wetland Protection Act violation
of Hodges Brook and its adjacent wetlands. The Commissioners
inspected the area in question and found that the right of way
to the Great Woods did seem to be blocked by stockpiled material`
and that this material also seemed to have been placed within
100 feet of the swampy area running along Hodges Brook.
MOTION:` To issue a Cease and Desist Order to Carl Nelson for
infringement within 100 feet of a wetland with the
request that he file for a Wetland Protection Act1
Hearing for this work on or before September 22, 1980.

Chairwoman Webb stated that this personal inspection of the
Great Woods access would better enable her to write the letter
concerning this matter for which she was authorized at the "Last
meeting.
