meeting of the Conservation Commission.
Mr. and Mrs. 'Richard Drury. 52 Tremont Street
Mr. and Mrs. Drury approached the Commission with their
concerns regarding the construction of a log cabin by
Mr. Marc Bouchard next door to their property. 'Their main
concern was a change in the water table due to the con-
struction plans and could flooding occur on their property.
The Drurys, who own two acres, feel they live on property
which has wetlands. The proposed location of the house
to be built on the Bouchard property is approximately 25
feet from the Drug's property line. In April of this
year the water table was measured to be 38 inches.
Commissioner Bonvie stated it was because of the unusually
wet winter we had. Members of the Commission felt there
would be no problem with flooding, however, they agreed to
visit the site on August 23 to determine if there are
wetlands in the area. if there are wetlands, and if the
site of the proposed construction is within 100 feet of
the wetlands, a Wetlands Protection Act Bearing will have
to be held for Mr. Bouchard. It was stated to the Drurys
that the Conservation Oommission's jurisdiction in this
case would be to assist the abutters with a potentialflooding
problem, not take a position that Mr. Bouchard would be
unable to build his log cabin.

Chairwoman Royle stated that in September 19829 she ,was informed
by the Assessor's office that Christian and Schromm wanted to
give -.the Conservation Commission a parcel of land near 'Village
Estates. At that time, the Commission requested that Mr. Christian
send a letter in writing stating his intentions, however, a
letter was never received from him. 'Mr. Christian asked the
Assessor's office to prepare papers and he would sign the land

what parcel of land Mr. Christian intends on giving. It was
