Present: Chairman Bob Jones, Debbie Button, Pete Mason
lo,'s'_ter Nelson, Charles Meszoley.
Meeting called to order at 7:45 PM.
This was a special meeting posted in the Town Clerks office.
Motion by Charles Moszoley seconded by Bob Jones to accept
the minutes from the meeting of January 9, 1973, all in favor.
We met with members of the Mansfield Fish and Game Club and
Mr. Slaterbeck and Mr. Turner -from the Department of Fish and
Game. Discussion was held on an article inserted in the
town meeting by the commission relative to hunting and shooting.
Members of the Fish and Game Club were opposed to the article
as they felt it infringed on the rights of hunters and that the
present laws handled what we were trying to prevent.
We advised them d.that we would ,take the matter under advisement.
Discussion was held. on the restoration of Fulton Pond. Possibly
Town Hall Building Committee will be interested in the gravel.
and will take it free of charge..
Next 'Tuesday night will be a Hatch Act on the application of
Joe Gonsalves to establish a camping ground.
Motion by Charles Meszoley seconded by Debbie Button to table
Article 32 in the Town Meeting, all in favor.
