The Canoe River Aquifer Advisory Committee meeting of 5 December 1991 was
opened at 1:00 p.m. John Grant made a motion, seconded by Kathy Romero,
to approve the minutes of 7 November 1991. The motion passed. Chairman
Wayne Southworth then transported the group on an inspection of the Canoe
River watershed from Sharon to Norton. John Fresh provided an interesting
and enjoyable narrative along the way.
After the group had returned to Norton, Dick Lewis asked the members to
send a letter to EOEA Secretary Susan Tierney, urging her to release funds
for the sewer project in Mansfield. Bill Hardin made a motion, seconded
by John Grant, to support said action. Ed Tartufo abstained from voting.
The motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 3:00 p.m.
