There was discussion relative to the video project. Wayne mentioned that the
the DPW Director in Easton has experience with such a project and would be
willing to assist. He also mentioned that the project would be benifical
to the cable companies as well as available for an educational tool in the
communities. Wayne asked for ideas from all members and noted that all would
really have to be involved to make it a success.
Some ideas that cane forth were to interview members of the committee. Suzanne
mentioned that it should be brought out that water is a regional resource and
does not recognize town lines. Phil thought homeowners should be remined that
they have a responsibility for water as a resource.
The "Canoe River Awareness Day" plans were discussed in depth. Dan said most of
the work would have to be accomplished the week of 5/8 to be ready for Sat., 5/13.
Hopefully Bill Keating and Barbara Hiland will attend. Barney Frank will not be
available. Dan is looking for information on the history of Greeley's Pond and
hope Dave Risch will assist. Others who may have input are Frank Bagley and
Audrey Greeley. There will be canoes provided by Boy Scouts and Wayns has access
to canoes slao. Coffee and donuts hopefully will be provided by Honeydew or maybe
Foxboro Rotary. Tarps are available in case of rain and a portable toilet will be

meeting in this area. Len and Suzanne plan to attend meeting 5/6/95. Will report
on information which sounds like it may be beneficial to this area. Wayne thanked
Suzanne for volunteering in this program.
The development of an ACEC Management Plan was talked about. Suggestions were made
relative to common concerns regarding resources, targeting special resources in our
own ACEC, management practices in place presently. Wayne noted that this, group is
equal to ACEC - we do have a plan. John thought this group could serve as ACEC for
Canoe River.
Spring of '97 will mark 10th anniversary and goal setting for marking that event was
discussed. A subcommittee should be established, Wayne volunteered and John -vas
appointed. Dan suggested that everyone bring ideas for that event to next meeting.

' of CRAAC be included.

Mansfield also needs a member, several names were mentioned.
An invitation to Taunton River Watershed arrived too late. Willing to do another
sign up for workshop - at Awareness Day.
Letter from Shawn Flaherty - unable to attend meetings, remains interested however,
maybe his name should be removed from mailing list. Wayne chose to retain his name
on list.
