I. Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 1:00 pm at Mansfield Town Hall.
H. Review of Minutes - January 4, 1996
MOTION: To accept the minutes of January 4, 1996, as
written.(Flynn/Higgins) Unanimous
Mr. Bob Jones, Mansfield, was introduced to the Committee. He is the new
member representing the Town of Mansfield. Mr. John Buckley, introduced
himself as the assistant DPW Director for the Town of Mansfield. The
members of CRAAC introduced themselves to the new members.
A brief, history of the Committee was given.
III. Transportation Enhancement Program Grant Potential
Committee member Flynn discussed that the grants are available only for
areas that are affected by transportation.
There may be other fundsavailable due to the passing of the Open Space
Bond Bill. There was also money that was left over from last year. The
other areas that are abutting the river. The members talked about parcels of
land in their community. A draft letter will be prepared and reviewed at the
next meeting. This letter will be sent to the organizations which are listed as
having funds available.

The Committee discussed the letter from Trudy Cox - There were no funds
1 available this year hopefully funds would be available in the next funding
cycle. Money for the dam project should be included in the Open Space
Bond Bill. The Mill Pond dam project needs to go out to bid again.
The Town of Sharon has an opening for a representative on CRAAC.
Publications and news letters were distributed to the Committee for review
NEW BUSINESS:
Plymouth County Wild Land Trust is holding a meeting to discuss saving
Land in Southeastern MA. It will be held on February 15th in Kingston MA.
The Committee thanked member Suzanne Erikson for the reception that she
put on for Kathy Romero.
The next meeting of CRAAC will be held in Easton on March 7, 1996.
The meeting adjourned at 2:20pm
